We developped a new protocol to analyse macroevolutionary landscape based on multivariate phenotypic data1.

We applied this protocol to short-necked plesiosaurians; this page illustrates a visualisation of the macroevolutionary landscape, produced using plotly and R markdown.

Phylodensity

We modified the phylomorphospace function of W. Andrew Barr to add options and a a kernel density approximating the macroevolutionary landscape.
